New Macbook Air to be Released By End of this Month

Image by Getty Images via @daylife According to Taiwan 's Economic Daily newspaper , Apple will begin selling it's latest Macbook Air laptop by late this month.  Initial shipment will be at 380,000 units. The Macbook Air will come with Apple's latest operating system, the OS X Lion which has over 250 enhancements.  The Macbook Air will also come with Intel's latest Sandy Bridge processors. Another interesting news bit is that Apple is also scheduled to release the iPad 3 by fourth quarter of this year.  The main difference the iPad 3 will bring is the higher resolution compared to the existing iPad 2.  According to the newspaper, the iPad 3 will have 5-6 times higher resolution than what the iPad 2 has. Sony Playstation Vita, Next Gen Handheld

Sony has released its highly anticipated successor to the Playstation Portable .  The next generation portable gaming system will be name Playstation Vita or PSVita for short. The Sony Playstation Vita will be equipped with a quad core processor , six-axis motion sensors , dual analog controls, front and rear facing cameras, an OLED touchscreen and a touchpad on it's back. Initial pricing for the PSVita will be $249 for the wi-fi version, and $299 for the 3G model. During the announcement at the E3 conference, Sony demoed a few games for the PSVita that will be available on release date.  The first games include Uncharted : Golden Abyss, Little Big Planet and Street Fighter X Tekken. Apple iOS 5 Preview

Also in today's WWDC keynote, the Apple iOS 5 details have been released.  This is by far one of the major upgrades to the already advanced iOS operating system for iOS devices. According to Apple , the new iOS 5 will have more than 200 new features for the iPad , iPhone or iPod touch . Here are the major enhancements: Notification Center - Since we get a lot of different kinds of notifications (Text, Twitter , Facebook .. etc.) on our devices, Apple has created a centralized application which will organize all these notifications.  With notification center, you will just swipe down from the top of the screen, and all your notifications from different applications will be accessible.  New notifications will appear briefly on the top of the screen. iMessage - With iMessage, you can now send text messages from any iOS 5 device to another.  Conversations are stored so you can go back to a conversation you left off.  Not only can you send text messages, ...

Apple's iCloud Service Announced

Image by Getty Images via @daylife Today, Apple introduced the much rumored and much anticipated iCloud service.  What exactly is the Apple iCloud service?  In simple terms, the Apple iCloud service is a one stop shop where you could purchase or backup almost all types of media and applications .  In the iCloud, you can store or sync applications, media, calendars , documents and a lot more. The iCloud was announced in today's WWDC keynote, by no less than Apple CEO Steve Jobs .  Through iCloud, users will be able to access different media and applications wirelessly on any iOS device, MAC or PC . Any song purchased in iTunes will now be automatically synced to other devices under that same account. With the new Photo Stream, any picture uploaded to the cloud will automatically be available on all devices with Photo Stream installed. Apple's Steve Jobs to unveil latest 'Lion' Operating System

Image via Wikipedia Aside from the impending release of Apple's iCloud music service next week, Apple CEO, Steve Jobs is also expected to release Apple's next operating system for it's Mac desktops and laptops.  The latest operating system 'Lion' is the successor to the current ' Tiger ' operating system. Useful features currently only found in the iPad are being made available in the Mac OS X Lion operating system. The Mac OS X Lion will now feature the Mac App store .  The Mac App store will bring the application portal found in the App Store on the iPad to the Mac OS X , where users will be able to purchase applications online and immediately install software once the download has completed. Steve Jobs to Present Apple's Keynote Next Week, iCloud Music Service to be Announced

Image via Wikipedia The creative mind behind Apple's success, no other than Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs is expected to get out of   sick leave next week to deliver Apple's scheduled keynote next week.  Steve Jobs is still Apple's CEO and still plays a big part in the decision making for Apple's future products.  Steve Jobs, who was the brains behind such successful, world-changing devices like the iPod , iPod touch and iPad has been having health problems lately and has been on medical leave for a while now.  Apple hasn't given any details on the latest status of the CEO's health.
