eero Home WiFi System is Now Available on eero.com and Amazon.com

The eero home WiFi system which I talked about in one of my previous posts is now available for purchase from eero.com and Amazon.com.

 As I mentioned before, the eero device is aimed at our wifi coverage at home.  The price of the here is $499 in amazon.com.

 According to the eero home page, the following are the benefits of the eero:

 - Eliminates buggering and dead-zones even in those hard-to-reach places.
- Three eeros cover 
- Required for setup: compatible iOS or Android phone, Internet service, modem.

Acer's Turn to Challenge the Apple iPad

It seems that every month we are getting news about the next iPad challenger.  Taiwan based computer company Acer is this month's latest Apple iPad challenger.  The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is the latest tablet to be released and challenge the current bestselling iPad. The Acer Iconia Tab is powered by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor which makes it powerful enough to play more sophisticated games.  Spreadsheets and word processors shouldn't be a problem also with this kind of power under the hood. The Iconia Tab is equipped with and HD optimized graphics card also from NVIDIA , the NVIDIA GeForce GPU .  One main advantage of the Iconia Tab over the iPad 2 is that it supports Flash .  All these can be viewed on the 10.1" multi-touch screen , almost the same as the iPad 2. BARCELONA, Spain (AFP) - – South Korean firm Samsung Electronics unveiled Sunday a new smartphone to lead the charge in its strategy to boost its share of the fast-growing segment of the mobile phone industry. The firm unveiled the slick Samsung Wave smartphone at a launch party in Barcelona, Spain, on the eve of the industry's biggest annual gathering, the Mobile World Congress. The phone, to be launched in May, is the first device fitted with Samsung's new mobile operating system, Bada, which was unveiled late last year.
