Will the Next iMac Have Retina Display?

With the recent release of the MacBook with Retina Display , we can't help but imagine if the iMacs will be the next to feature this amazingly clear and crisp display from Apple. Well, that's not too far from reality now, according to DIGITIMES , Apple's supply chain reportedly will start supplying components for the mass production of Apple's upcoming new iMac all-in-one PC in July with the device's official launch possibly around October, according to sources from upstream supply chain. DIGITIMES also got information that Apple is pursuing to have the Retina Display expand across all it's product lines.  This is one of the selling points of Apple to really compete or beat its competitors, majority of which come from PC based manufacturers. This is definitely good news for consumers and iMac loyalists.  The only question is, will the price be too expensive, specially after seeing that the Retina Display on the MacBook pushed it's price passe

Google Chrome for iOS Review

I just downloaded the iOS version of the speedy Google Chrome web browser over the weekend. Here are is my take using the browser for almost 3 days now.   Contrary to what others have observed, I still found Google Chrome to be speedy and feels very light to use. The look and feel are almost exactly the same as the PC version. Installing Google Chrome was easy, downloaded from the App Store and tapped on the application. I was browsing in less than 5 minutes. I'll be checking on other functionalities as I work with Chrome.

CD-R King Innovates With The First of its Kind Vending Machine

CD-R King has been known for its budget electronics, gadgets, peripherals and of course... its wide variety of CD products.  However, CD-R King is also getting known for it's long lines and poor service.  CD-R King hopes to erase that negative impression, they have now introduced their very own vending machine. According to the technology blog Technoodling , the vending machine is available at the Technohub branch in Quezon City.   The vending machine is currently loaded with mice, Bluetooth dongles, 4 port hubs, card readers, micro SD cards, USB sticks and optical disks.

New Kindle Fires Coming This July?

Kindle Fire: Out of the Box (Photo credit: Brian Sawyer ) Is Amazon preparing a Kindle refresh this month?  That may be true if the blog Boy Genius Report is accurate.  According to the gadget blog Boy Genius Report, Amazon may be preparing a 10 inch Kindle fire and will have a quad-core processor .  The 10 inch Kindle fire will be released this year. Amazon is also said to be working on a 7 inch Kindle fire and is targeting a July 31 release.  According to the reports, the new Kindle fires will have better build quality, Amazon will be replacing the current plastic casing with metal casing.
