Major iTunes Update Pushed Out to November

Image
We were expecting Apple to release a major update to it's music and video management software, iTunes this October, since that was what was displayed on the Apple iTunes website.  A lot of us will be disappointed that Apple has pushed out the release to November: The new iTunes is supposed to be less of a resource hog and comes with a simplified interface.  Could this be one of the projects ousted Apple Executive Scott Forstall was working on?  That could be true if iTunes is under the mobile software unit Forstall used to handle. We'll have to wait another month or so to update our slow and resource hogging iTunes software. Social network integration has also been Microsoft's focus lately, with Windows 8, you can share videos, photos, etc. just by swiping on what you want to share and instantly send it through email or post it in Facebook . The major shift of Windows 8 is that it is now designed to work easily with touch screens , most of the functionality done with a mouse before can now be done by tapping on the screen if you have a touch scree
