Sony PSP 2 by 2011?

On the rumor mill again, Sony is rumored to release an all new PSP 2 gaming handheld by late 2011.  According to the rumors, the major PSP 2 release will now feature a touchpad on the rear, which will be accessible together with the front controls for specific games.  The PSP 2 is expected to have a high definition screen.

Acer's Turn to Challenge the Apple iPad

It seems that every month we are getting news about the next iPad challenger.  Taiwan based computer company Acer is this month's latest Apple iPad challenger.  The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is the latest tablet to be released and challenge the current bestselling iPad. The Acer Iconia Tab is powered by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor which makes it powerful enough to play more sophisticated games.  Spreadsheets and word processors shouldn't be a problem also with this kind of power under the hood. The Iconia Tab is equipped with and HD optimized graphics card also from NVIDIA , the NVIDIA GeForce GPU .  One main advantage of the Iconia Tab over the iPad 2 is that it supports Flash .  All these can be viewed on the 10.1" multi-touch screen , almost the same as the iPad 2. Latest iTunes Now Available for Download

Image via Wikipedia Last Friday, November 12, Apple released the update to it's multi media player iTunes .  With this iTunes goes up to version 10.1.  Apple watchers were expecting this update, and were very accurate, Apple did indeed release the update.  What they were wrong about, was that they were also expecting the iOS 4.2 to be released last week, but up to now, Apple hasn't released the much anticipated update for the iPad , iPhone and iPod Touch . The latest iTunes was believed to be a preparation for the release of the iOS 4.2 which will enable multitasking on the iPad and also enable AirPlay and AirPrint.  Also, the iOS 4.2 will sort of bring the iPad and the iPhone to have equal features.  the iPad was a little left behind because the iPhone was multitasking enabled a lot earlier, which is why iPad owners are greatly anticipating iOS 4.2.
