Sony PSP 2 by 2011?

Image via Wikipedia On the rumor mill again, Sony is rumored to release an all new PSP 2 gaming handheld by late 2011.  According to the rumors, the major PSP 2 release will now feature a touchpad on the rear, which will be accessible together with the front controls for specific games.  The PSP 2 is expected to have a high definition screen. Image by Getty Images via @daylife The much anticipated October 20 Apple Mac Event was completed last night.  A lot of rumors have been confirmed and as expected a fresh new line up and features of the latest Macs are out.  Here are highlights from the Apple Mac Event: New MacBook Air - As forecasted earlier, Apple has released the latest version of the world's thinnest laptop, the MacBook Air.  Not only did apple update the features on this iconic laptop, but it also created a smaller version, the Macbook Air is now available as with an 11" version.  The most notable difference to the latest MacBook Air is that Apple has decided to replace the mechanical hard drives found in earlier versions of the MacBook Air with solid state flash drives.  Another interesting piece of engineering done on the MacBook Air is that Apple created separate chips to form the solid state drive , this made it possible for the MacBook Air to be as thin as possible.  With sol...

2nd Generation iPad Rumors

Image via Wikipedia Again, rumors of the 2nd generation Apple iPad are coming out over the internet.  There are still rumors coming out that a 7 inch version, retina display and a 128 GB storage is coming out late this year.  The interesting part is that, the 2nd generation iPad will still have the same price point as the 9 inch first generation version.  We'll have to wait and see if this really comes out the way it's rumored to be. Image via Wikipedia Apple is scheduled to release updates to it's line of Mac lineup.  The Mac notebooks have somewhat been overshadowed by the very popular iPad , iPhone and iPod releases, but let's not forget that the Mac notebook lineup plays an integral part of Apple's business.  Again, there are a lot of rumors going around about what Apple will be releasing on it's October 20 event.  Here are some of the most popular and most realistic of the rumors: 1. Since the MacBook pro 15" and 17" now have the latest Intel core i5 and core i7 processors, it would just be logical for the 13" Macbook pro to get probably the Intel core i3 processor. 2. Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Launched!

Image via Wikipedia Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer launched today the latest mobile phone operating system, the Windows Phone 7 .  Steve Balmer's catch line was "Always Delightful and Wonderfully Mine"  The Windows Phone 7 is launching on different phones from LG, Samsung, HTC and Dell.  In the States, AT&T will be the initial operator for the Windows Phone 7 based phones.  We will just have to wait here in the Philippines which major operator, Smart or Globe will be partnering to release the Windows Phone 7 phones. Panasonic Lumix Phone To Be Unveiled Next Week

RIM Blackberry PlayBook - Tablet

As expected, RIM , the makers of the number 1 business phone, Blackberry, has come out with their iPad competitor, the Blackberry PlayBook.  The Blackberry PlayBook is a tablet device aimed directly to compete with Apple's iPad tablet.  The Blackberry Playbook will have a 7 inch screen, will be 5.1 inches tall and 7.6 inches wide.  The Blackberry PlayBook will run on RIM's own operating system . iPad 2

Image via Wikipedia We haven't gotten over the first iPad release yet and there are already rumours of a second generation iPad.  According to rumours the next generation iPad will have a built in camera and equipped with a mini-usb .  Contrary to earlier rumours, the iPad 2 will still have the same screen size of 9.7 inches.  The iPad 2 is set to be released in the 1st quarter of 2011.
