iPad 2 Shipping February 2011?

Image via Wikipedia News around the internet today are pointing to a February 2011 if the second generation of the iPad.  The iPad 2. Component makers in Taiwan say Foxconn -- Apple's key maker of iPhones and iPads --has been notified that it should be ready to ship 400,000 to 600,000 units of the next version of iPad in the next 100 days, according to a  DigiTimes report  today. The Taiwan-based Foxconn reportedly declined to comment. DigiTimes reported that Apple had originally expected to begin mass production of the unofficially dubbed iPad 2 in January, but Apple postponed that schedule because the device's firmware is still undergoing testing. Apple representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment . iOS 4.3 To Be Released This Week?

Image via Wikipedia Again on the rumor mill, The Apple iOS 4.3 will be released for iOS devices as early as this Thursday, December 9.  The major feature, specially for the iPad will be support for subscription based apps. This latest enhancement takes queue from the increasing migrations of publications such as magazines and newspapers.  But the current limitation is that the publishers don't have a way of selling subscriptions .  iOS 4.3 aims to change that. According to CNET , iOS 4.3 was already in work during the iOS 4.2 release last month. We just have to wait and see if the December 9 release date for iOS 4.3 will push through. Latest iTunes Now Available for Download

Image via Wikipedia Last Friday, November 12, Apple released the update to it's multi media player iTunes .  With this iTunes goes up to version 10.1.  Apple watchers were expecting this update, and were very accurate, Apple did indeed release the update.  What they were wrong about, was that they were also expecting the iOS 4.2 to be released last week, but up to now, Apple hasn't released the much anticipated update for the iPad , iPhone and iPod Touch . The latest iTunes was believed to be a preparation for the release of the iOS 4.2 which will enable multitasking on the iPad and also enable AirPlay and AirPrint.  Also, the iOS 4.2 will sort of bring the iPad and the iPhone to have equal features.  the iPad was a little left behind because the iPhone was multitasking enabled a lot earlier, which is why iPad owners are greatly anticipating iOS 4.2. Lenovo IdeaPad U260 Ultraportable

Thinkpads.com, a blog dedicated to the latest happenings in the Lenovo world, has published an article about the latest IdeaPad.  The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 ultraportable will with a 12.5 inch screen will weigh only about 3.04 lbs. and only .71 inch thich. Going with the ultraportable trend, Lenovo decided not to put an internal optical drive on the U260.  The U260 will have either i3 or i5 ULV processors and only a 4 cell battery.  Similar to the limitations of the ultra thin MacBook Air , the U260 will only have 2 USB ports and no ExpressCard slot.  According to Lenovo, the 4 cell battery will still be able to power the U260 for 4 hours. The Lenovo U260 will still have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4 gigabytes of RAM and a 320GB HDD.  Lenovo has released the U260 in very attractive colors like Mocha Brown and Clementine Orange. Image via CrunchBase We were so confident that Apple products have been 100% security tight, but that might not be the case anymore.  It seems that  an iPhone security vulnerability has been discovered.  According to some Apple fan sites , a new iPhone vulnerability affecting the iOS 4.1 on the iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4 has been found.
