Lenovo IdeaPad U260 Ultraportable

Thinkpads.com, a blog dedicated to the latest happenings in the Lenovo world, has published an article about the latest IdeaPad.  The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 ultraportable will with a 12.5 inch screen will weigh only about 3.04 lbs. and only .71 inch thich.

Going with the ultraportable trend, Lenovo decided not to put an internal optical drive on the U260.  The U260 will have either i3 or i5 ULV processors and only a 4 cell battery.  Similar to the limitations of the ultra thin MacBook Air, the U260 will only have 2 USB ports and no ExpressCard slot.  According to Lenovo, the 4 cell battery will still be able to power the U260 for 4 hours.

The Lenovo U260 will still have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4 gigabytes of RAM and a 320GB HDD.  Lenovo has released the U260 in very attractive colors like Mocha Brown and Clementine Orange.

No Pricing has been released for the U260 yet.
