iPhone Security Vulnerability Found

We were so confident that Apple products have been 100% security tight, but that might not be the case anymore. It seems that an iPhone security vulnerability has been discovered. According to some Apple fan sites, a new iPhone vulnerability affecting the iOS 4.1 on the iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4 has been found.
To get into this vulnerability, using the iPhone you want data from, simply go to the lock screen, go to emergency call mode, dial any number and immediately press the hold switch. This will bring up all the recent calls which were made on the phone, for both incoming and outgoing calls. You will also get access to their voice mails and their address book. Not only that, you will also be able access their music and send contact information to others by email or MMS. One more usually private section that will be accessible will be the photos.
This is definitely a big security issue, considering that the phone lock was supposed to secure your iPhone and lock out any unwanted users to your phone where you usually store some sensitive information. Hopefully Apple gets to know about this and patches the vulnerability in the fastest time possible. The other bug, which fortunately was already fixed by Apple was the facetime bug. This latest security issue is a lot bigger and more serious than the facetime bug and should probably be fixed by the next iPhone software update. Every iPhone user will definitely need to update to the latest iOS as soon as the fix for this bug is released.
