SanDisk iXpand Base for iPhone - Backup Your iPhone While You Charge

SanDisk has just released an iPhone dock with a very interesting twist to it.  The iXpand is designed primarily to be an iPhone dock and charger, the new concept behind it though is that it also serves as a backup for all the data on your iPhone.  The idea behind the iXpand is that the data on your iPhone is being backed up while you charge your phone, usually at night.  

The iXpand backs up your photos, videos and contacts.  Although most of us already backup to iCloud, it still is a good idea to have multiple backups, aside from that, iCloud has limited free storage.  So you have the option of completely backing up locally to the iXpand and backup whatever can fit in iCloud.

 The top of the iXpand is made of soft rubber for you to lay your iPhone on, then a wrap-around groove to keep the Lightning cable neat.  The iXpand is capable of fast-charging with 15W of power.

 The iXpand comes with a companion app for backing up and restoring your iPhone's contents.

The iXpand comes in 256GB, 128GB, 64GB and 32GB storage capacities.  The 256GB is $199.99 down to the 32GB priced at $49.99 and is available now.

Samsung Series 3 Laptop - High Performance, Low Cost

Samsung has been coming out with quite a few new sexy laptops through its latest Series X laptop line.  First, there was the Series 9, which is now being regarded as a very good competitor to the Macbook Air.  Then came the Series 5, which was an experiment of the functionality of the Google Chrome OS . Samsung Galaxy R - Dual Core Mobile Phone

Samsung has released the latest addition to its Galaxy mobile phone line, the Galaxy R.  The Galaxy R is a joint project between Samsung and Nvidia, the world's largest video chip manufacturer.  The Samsung Galaxy R is the first in Samsung's wide array of mobile phones that will be equipped with Nvidia's dual core Tegra 2 processor. The Tegra 2 should enable the Galaxy R to perform complicating computing tasks and even high resolution games.  The Galaxy R will be able to output high definition video up to 1080p.  The Galaxy R will be run by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
