Nintendo Announcing A Super Nintendo Classic Edition Will Make You Reminisce Your Childhood
Nintendo has announced the release of a classic edition of its very popular Super Nintendo gaming console. The Super Nintendo Classic Edition will start shipping on September 29, Nintendo said in a surprise press release yesterday.
The miniaturized 16-bit gray and purple version of the hit gaming console of the 90's, Super Nintendo will ship with 21 games including a sequel to the 3D Shooter Star Fox that Nintendo developed but never released.
The Super Nintendo Classic Edition gaming console will have a price tag of $79.99, or $20 more than the first classic edition Nintendo released last year, the 8-bit NES Classic, which by the way was sold out quickly.
According to Nintendo, the Super Nintendo Classic Edition will be the exact albeit shrinked version of the original Super Nintendo released in 1991. The Classic edition will include original U.S. pack-in Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid and F-Zero. Like the previously released NES Classic, the Super Nintendo Classic edition will now support HDMI output for high-definition TV playback.
The retro gaming console will include 2 wired controllers exactly how they were in the 90's out of the box.
