Samsung Philippines Introduces Yet Another Tablet

Samsung Philippines recently unveiled another addition to its tablet line, the Galaxy Note 10.1.  The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 adds another competitor to the growing list of Apple iPad killers.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with a WXGA TFT screen capable of displaying 1280x800 pixels with both touch and S Pen support.  The tablet will be run by the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.  The processor will be a very powerful 1.4 GHz Quadcore processor.

Memory will be 16GB but will be expandable up to 32GB.  The Galaxy Note will have front and rear facing cameras.

The feature I am looking forward to in the Galaxy Note 10.1 is the real multi-tasking feature.  Unlike what the iPad has wherein you switch from application to application, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is capable of running 2 applications side by side, for example watching a video on one screen and a note taking application on the other side.

The S Pen, Samsung's stylus, makes writing notes and creating drawings a lot easier, just like writing with an actual pen and paper.  The S Pen also makes it easier to use the included Adobe Photoshop Touch application for editing or enhancing pictures.
