Apple iPad Event Set for March 7!

Image
It looks like we'll be seeing the actual specs of the iPad 3 by March 7.  Apple has just sent out invitations for the March 7 iPad event. Rumors on what the iPad 3 will be loaded with has been circulating the past few weeks like the high resolution screen, Siri for iPad and a quad core processor are just some of the exciting news if they actually find their way to the actual product. The March 7 event will probably be introduced by no less than current Apple CEO Tim Cook and will be held in the same venue as where the very first iPad and the iPad 2 was launched, in Yerba Buena Gardens . This will be the first iPad launch without Apple's co-founder Steve Jobs, he will truly be missed, but he also chose Tim Cook as his successor so Tim Cook just might turn out to be on the same level or even better at presentations than Steve Jobs.  We will have to wait and see on March 7. Will Apple Really Release a Full Televsion Set?

Ever since the biography on Steve Jobs was released, there has been so much talk that Apple is working on a full fledged television set.  If that is true, then that would be really good news for all of us.  I can't help but imagine the exciting features the TV might have.   Here are a few from our wish list and also some rumors going around on the Internet:   1. The current Apple TV will be integrated into the Apple Television.  That means streaming video! 2. Multiple iDevices can be used as a remote control, either the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. 3. iTunes integration, purchase TV series or movies from iTunes. 4. Of course, Apple's signature high definition display. 5. If the TV will look similar to how the current iMacs are designed then we are in for a treat :)   Last but not the least, a low price point, maybe less than P50,000? :)

Samsung Galaxy Note - Too Big to be a Phone?

Image
One of Samsung 's latest phone model is the Samsung Galaxy Note .  The first thing you'll notice with the Galaxy Note is that it definitely has a larger blueprint than most typically sized ph Image via Wikipedia ones, specially if you've seen the Galaxy S2. The Samsung Galaxy Note screen measures 5.3" and has one of the best screens out in the market, with its WXGA (1,280 x 800) HD sAMOLED display.  The display, like most Samsung AMOLED screens, is very bright and sharp, but, just like before, since the Galaxy Note's screen is larger than the Samsung Galaxy S2 , you'll notice that the Galaxy Note is not quite as sharp as the Galaxy S2's display. The Galaxy Note also comes with a stylus, so if you're used to using Apple products, this might get a little getting used to.   Steve Jobs wouldn't have wanted this, since he was totally against devices which use the stylus :)  The Samsung Galaxy Note also has a powerful dual core 1.4gh...

Still on the Rumor Mill: Apple Designing Larger MacBook Airs

Still carrying on from last week's Apple rumor mill, we start this week with very interesting news that the big Apple might be planning or designing larger MacBook Airs, specifically 15" and 17" versions. Will We See Siri in the iPad 3?

Another interesting new feature we might see in the iPad 3 is no other than Apple's personal assistant Siri.  It seems quite logical that Apple include Siri in the next generation iPad. Apple needs something consumers will go out and purchase the iPad 3 and that could really be Siri.  This aside from the rumored quad core processor and higher screen resolution.
