We're just catching up on the new features Apple added to iOS 4.2.1 and here is Apple back to work on the next release of it's iOS system.  Apple has released iOS 4.3 but currently only to developers which means this is not the final build yet.  New features will benefit the iPad more than the iPhone.  The iPad will get 4 finger and 5 finger gestures which will enable features, currently only found using the physical home button.  The 4 finger gestures will enable switching between open apps and closing open apps.

Another new feature to be introduced in iOS 4.3 is the ability for users to toggle the function of the button on the right side of the iPad, users can now choose if the button will be used for mute or for the screen rotation lock.

On the iPhone, the main feature will be the use of mobile hotspots which enables connection sharing.
