Today marked another historical event in the history of Apple, creators of the revolutionary iPhone .  There are a lot of milestones being celebrated by Apple today, I'll go through each milestone and announcement in this blog post, so sit back, relax and enjoy what I think is the beginning of another chapter in Apple's storied history. What Apple Announced in Yesterday's WWDC16

Apple announced a lot of new and exciting news in its WWDC16 keynote yesterday, June 13.  There were a lot of updates to almost all of the operating systems of Apple, from iOS, tvOS, watchOS to the Mac operating system, OSX. Here is a summary of the major updates we will see in the coming months. iOS 10 The operating system running your iPhone and iPads is going to have a major update, bumping it to version 10, according to Apple, this is their biggest release for iOS yet.  Here are the notable features Apple announced: You will now be able to write messages in your own handwriting, the recipients will see an animated message just like it flows on paper. Customizable bubbles, you can now choose how the bubbles in your conversations will look. The screen in messages will now come to life, with your greetings filling up the whole screen. Acer's Turn to Challenge the Apple iPad

It seems that every month we are getting news about the next iPad challenger.  Taiwan based computer company Acer is this month's latest Apple iPad challenger.  The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is the latest tablet to be released and challenge the current bestselling iPad. The Acer Iconia Tab is powered by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor which makes it powerful enough to play more sophisticated games.  Spreadsheets and word processors shouldn't be a problem also with this kind of power under the hood. The Iconia Tab is equipped with and HD optimized graphics card also from NVIDIA , the NVIDIA GeForce GPU .  One main advantage of the Iconia Tab over the iPad 2 is that it supports Flash .  All these can be viewed on the 10.1" multi-touch screen , almost the same as the iPad 2.
